Helping people build healthy habits to deal with stress

We’re Tiff and Amanda—a creative duo passionate about health, wellness, and making science accessible.

Tiff is a seasoned content writer with 4+ years of experience writing for health and wellness brands. Her background spans work across freelance roles, in-house, and as a writer in marketing agencies supporting Ivy League schools.

She specializes in crafting engaging, easy-to-understand content that helps people feel informed and empowered—whether it’s breaking down complex medical topics or guiding readers through lifestyle tips that make a real difference.

Amanda is a neuroscience researcher and published author with a PhD from Texas A&M. Her research has focused on the brain circuitry behind alcohol use disorder and neurodevelopmental conditions like fragile X syndrome.

She’s contributed to peer-reviewed journals including Brain Research, Nature Communications, and eLife, and has presented her findings at major scientific conferences across the country.

Meet Tiff

Tiff Perritt is an SEO content writer with a knack for blending her love of healthcare with search strategy and storytelling.

With a Bachelor’s in Professional Writing, Associate’s in English, and certifications in Google Analytics, Semrush, and HubSpot, she’s created conversion-focused content for industries ranging from healthcare and education to SaaS and digital marketing.

Her work has appeared on the home pages, secondary pages, and blogs of leading companies valued at over $250 million. She holds a strong stance against using AI in her healthcare and wellness writing, believing that real stories, empathy, and lived experiences are critical for creating peer-reviewed content that genuinely resonates with readers.

When she’s not writing, you’ll find her trail running, rock climbing, or attempting to find the ultimate chocolate chip cookie recipe.

Meet Dr. Essoh

Amanda Essoh is a neuroscience researcher and published author with a passion for uncovering the brain’s role in addiction and developmental disorders. She earned her PhD from Texas A&M, where she led collaborations studying the neural circuitry behind alcohol use disorder and fragile X syndrome.

Her work has been presented at national conferences and published in leading peer-reviewed journals. The core of her research focuses on how the striatum influences cognitive flexibility and how stress and substance use reshape neural function.

In addition to her PhD, she holds a Bachelor’s in Chemistry from Lamar University, where she first discovered her love for research while studying bacterial proteins and mentoring chemistry students. Outside the lab, Amanda enjoys hiking and playing with her three dogs and two cats.
